Project 2 - Cutting Line

Kind of inspired by the mirror on the wall in the Shrek franchise, I
imagined a face just barely emerging from water out of a frame. This
original file was created in Adobe Illustrator but then cut out
using the laser cutter of the BDW on acrylic. The medium made it so
that many of the details are lost unless held at a certain angle.
The raised bits of the face and ripples of water were smaller shapes
cut out form the same sheet of acrylic before glued on their
respective positions with hot glue.
